Serving up style inspiration, lifestyle tips, buzzworthy beauty items, recipes, and more; To The Altar & After is basically just like a brunch date with your best friend! And as a brunch obsessed girl, that’s exactly what I wanted this blog to be. I’m passionate about inspiring women to live their best, most beautiful, and well-rounded lives while being the total babes that they are. The key to having it all is knowing that you already do and having a girlfriend (me) to share all her “Martha Stewart meets Cosmo” secrets with you!

I’m Laurient and I’m the blogger behind To The Altar & After. I write for all the busy ladies that aspire to be well-rounded women, but want to find the simplest info and inspiration in one place. I started this blog in 2014 as a way to share my wedding planning and transition from single gal to OMG someone’s wife! Quickly, I realized my desire to share all the lifestyle tips and tricks I picked up along the way. And that’s the story of how my little wedding blog became the all encompassing lifestyle blog it is today!

I live in Central New Jersey with my husband, Mike, and our two fur-babies, Brody & Mia. In a nutshell, I’m a girls girl who’s all about gold accessories, faux fur jackets, and handbags I can fit my whole life in. I’m also a total foodie with a love for creating delicious dishes and trying new restaurants. I’m known for binge watching Bravo reality TV shows and celebrating the little things in life by popping champagne, because why not!

I hope your time on To The Altar & After feels like spending quality time with your girlfriend! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hello… I was so excited when your Mom shared your blog with me. I loved reading about what you and Mike have been doing and getting a sneak peek into your beautiful, new home! Loving your living room and yes I feel like I could be in Palm Springs sitting there with a nice glass of Rosé. I am curious about Blue Apron and will now check it out. Wouldn’t you love to see Stephen on a chopping station? Hope to see you soon & congrats on such a creative blog.
