Monday’s are always dreadful. Back to the office, emails, and long to-do lists – fix it Jesus, fix it! This past weekend I was a little spoiled because I took Friday off, so Mike and I both had a 3-day weekend. It really never seems like enough time though, I just want to hold on to the weekend a little bit longer. In the spirit of being a weekend warrior I thought I’d share the best moments from our Easter weekend.
- On Friday, Mike and I got a new car. We did tons of research for the last few months and decided we wanted a small SUV in hopes that our family would be growing in the not so distant future. We went with a Hyundai Tucsan in Gray. So far we absolutely love it. This is a weird adult thing to say, but I’m so obsessed with all the trunk space!
- For Church & brunch on Sunday I wore my new favorite dress silhouette. This fit and flare, midi dress is everything. The cut is flattering on all body types and the length is so classic and ladylike. Old Navy has a bunch of these dresses in different colors and prints. So far, I have the white eyelet lace and a plain black one. I definitely need more, because I feel absolutely fantastic in it. Ladies, when you find a dress that makes you feel like a goddess, buy it in every color, print, and fabric! I also love styling this dress because it’s simple. A cute denim jacket, summery wedges, and fun statement earrings take this classic frock to the next level.
- After an awesome Easter brunch at my Mom’s house we decided to enjoy the gorgeous 85 degree weather outside. We went to Asbury Park to walk the boardwalk and check out the shops. We stopped for a quick drink to take in the scene. Mike and I don’t spend too much time in Asbury, but we really love that area. We made a vow to spend more time there this summer since the beach is beautiful and there a bunch of good restaurants there. Maybe we can eat our way through Asbury and post about it here!
What were your favorite weekend moments?!
