Confusing spring weather is officially upon the Northeast. One day it’s warm enough for a dress and open toe shoes and the next day you’re scrambling to find a heavier jacket to stay warm. Everyone just looks so seasonally confused. I try to combat confusion by wearing pastel colored lighter knits and lighter wash jeans. This way I’m warm enough, but not overly so and the colors give off Spring vibes.Today’s outfit does just that! I love the pastel periwinkle sweater. It has a subtle bell sleeve which is totally on trend, but not overly trendy that it won’t work for next year. I’m a huge fan of white jeans and the rockstar jeans from Old Navy are my favorite. They fit like a glove and a super comfy. These are the neutral block heels I mentioned in my Easter dress post. I love how versatile they are. Also, can I just love on my sunglasses for a second. These are the Quay Cherry Bombs and they are the bomb. I saw them and liked them, but didn’t think I could pull off mirrored shades. I’m so glad I caved and bought them because they might just be my new favorite thing!
I have to shout out my mom because she shoot this look for me. Mike usually does my outfit photography, but he was working on Saturday, so I bribed my mom with a lunch outing if she’d take a few shots for me. She’s a natural photographer, I think it should be her hobby when she retires. What do you think!? `
I hope you all had both a relaxing and productive weekend and are feeling great about the start of a new week!
